The Papers of Sam S. Brody, 1955-1992 (bulk 1960-1972)

These papers concern only one phase of a long career, but they are a cohesive group telling the story of Brody's years at Melpar / Meloy Laboratories. There are reference files used by Brody in the various projects he supervised, copies of papers delivered by Brody at conferences and symposia and patent-related materials most of the latter concern the flame photometric detector. Brody's pre-prototype version of a chromatograph developed for use by the Army to test dispersion of chemical agents in the air is included in this donation and there is accompanying documentation in the form of a draft version of the instrumentation manual for this device.
